Hello everyone, I'm new to this board and I've just been trying to wade through all the information on the index regarding Ambrosius. The author seems to be saying that Ambrosius Aurelianus in fact belongs to the 4th century and was the father of St Ambrose, but then later on in another chapter Ambrosius is back in his traditional place fighting the Saxons in the latter half of the 5th century!
What's going on here - is the author saying that there was more than one Ambrosius, or are all the articles on this site written by different people???
